“Where Is That in the Bible” Preparation Information for Class #2:
Thanks to everyone who was able to attend Class #1. The class was very Spirited, and I anticipate that our Class #2 Topics will provide more excitement as we continue to journey with the Lord. We believe that we will be adding to our numbers for class #2; Praise God!
Matthew 13:32 – a question arose in class as to the pertinence of that passage as it pertains to “The Father is God.” It was not a typo on my account (Although I do make mistakes!); it was listed as such in the video. I, too could not find any connection to “The Father is God” in that passage. It’s also interesting that I didn’t find that Bible passage reference in Patrick Madrid’s book by the same name. the closest I came to the passage numbers was Luke 12:32 – “Do not be afraid any longer, little flock, for your Father is please to give you the kingdom.”
Terri Mattie provided us with the Opening Prayer for Class #1, and I was asked to share it:
Creator of all things,
Give me a sharp sense
Of understanding, a
Retentive memory, and the ability
To grasp things correctly and
Fundamentally.
Grant me the talent of being
Exact in my explanations, and
The ability to express myself
With thoroughness and charm.
Point out the beginning,
Direct the progress, and help in
The completion:
Through Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
